I need to synch my iphone 11 pro max to this mac ( the version is high sierra10.13)

You can use the same iCloud account or plug your iPhone in, go to Finder, then your phone's name will appear on the side. Click that. Then it might tell you to create a new phone or restore from backup. Your phone is probably not new but nothing bad will happen to your phone if you press create new. It will stay the same. Then you can sync whatever you want.
