Messenger on IMac

How can change the phone number in Messages on my IMac? Currently, all messages show my husband's phone number as the sender.

The number can be changed in the Messages/iMessage preference pane.

Also make sure you have a contact card in Contacts for yourself and it's set to be the owners card, i.e. has this icon next to it:
