Bigsur MacBook Pro (M1) slow local network

Hello Team,

I'm currently facing a problem with a very slow connection when I download a file from my NAS (local network).

I've made a simply test that you can find the description below.

Devices: MBP M1 (BigSur) and MBP (Catalina - Intel Mid 2012)

Target file: 2.5Gb

M1 take 8 Minutes
Intel 2 minutes.

I know don't if this problem come from my Mac or BigSur.

Did you already seen this behavior?

Do you have a potential solution ?

Unable to connect to NAS drive MacBook Air catalina Hello everybody, Since a couple of days I can't access my NAS drive anymore, I have two NAS in my network one is a DLINK dns320l and the other one a Western Digital WDCloud, with the second one I don't have any problem to access but with the DLINK im unable to see my shared folders. My MacBook is connected over wifi, windows pc is connected over ethernet. All works fine from windows 10 though. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

deathly slow network transfers I do network file transfers from my M1 iMac (Monterey) to my old (late 2011) MacBook Pro running High Sierra. My router/internet is Google fiber, which is hugely fast on both machines. But these file transfers take AGES. Several minutes for 100MB. Why? I'd be better off walking back and forth with a USB stick.

network slows down until I reboot The network speed through Ethernet on my iMac progressively slows down over several days after reboot. Eventually I notice it because gaming slows down, and now I'm monitoring it with Speedtest and can see the performance dropping. Here's I've tried so far: Stop all applications Stop Dropbox and Google Drive Turn off Bitdefender scanning Check the network usage. It's around 10 kB/s. Turn Ethernet off and on. Scan with Malwarebytes I'm running Catalina 10.15.6 and have lots of free memory and CPU. Any advice on what else to try?

what medium? {Ethernet, Wi-Fi, other}

If Wi-Fi, what transmit rate is achieved?
