My father has given me his old IPad, he deactivated it, but I get an Activation Lock screen with his appleid info. The problem is he cant remember the password he used initially and we have tried his current PW and previous PW's to no avail! Is there anything that can be done?
Tell him to use Apple's iForgot service or contact their Account Security team, or the iPad's original owner to supply Apple with its purchase receipt and ask them to remove the lock.
