How to reset my ipad 4

How do I reset my ipad if I forgot my apple ID and password and can’t log in. I have ipad 4 and i wanted to do a fresh reset but now I’m locked out and stuck.

Your first post says she forgot her Apple ID. Your second post says she knows her Apple ID.

So I’ll take one guess - maybe she knows the Apple ID but not its password.

Is it really your Apple ID?

Yes. If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support
No. The original owner must unlock the iPad or it will remain useless forever.

I’m writing on behalf of my girlfriend. The Ipad is hers and so is the Apple ID. She has a receipt to prove it. She can’t change the password because she forgot her email and email password. Basically she only knows apple ID
