Not all types of workouts show route on map I wonder why not all workouts show my route on the map. For example if i use outdoor cycle I get a nice view of where I cycled on a map. Same if I use outdoor walk or hiking. However, when I use downhill skiing or snow sports it does not record my route. I get a pin on the map as if I exercised on one spot. As a workaround I've been recording skiing as cycling to have a record of the routes. Definitely not ideal. Any ideas how to fix this?

Apple Fitness Cross Country Ski doesn't map, doesn't record distance Apple Fitness "Cross Country Ski" doesn't map the route & doesn't record distance - basic GPS functions. I know there's other Community answers out there suggesting you simply use "Outdoor walk" or "Hike" or a different option. But why can't THIS option be fixed? Running, walking, bicycling, hiking, etc - all record distance and map. Isn't it simply a matter of adding the same GPS programming function to Cross Country Ski that all these other options use?

Cross country skiing workout doesn't measure distance only time and calories burnt so it won't create a map of your route.
