I would like to run Waze on my phone screen and music on CarPlay. Is that possible?

Connect to your car at least once
Go to Settings, General, Car Play, tap on your car, Customise
Add and remove apps as desired.

Thanks for your reply Peter but that doesn’t work. Even if I move Waze by clicking the minus sign the next time I connect to CarPlay and open Waze on my phone CarPlay puts Waze on the screen and my phone e goes back to turn by turn. Ideally I wan to run my music off the head unit and leave it up and run Waze off my phone. Unfortunately the aftermarket unit that I purchased does not stream album art over Bluetooth. So I get just a black or blue screen with the song name across it. Hope that makes sense.
