There's that Apple Calendar right side section, and I would like to have it not show. I've checked preferences, and searched online, haven't found a way to do so.
Does anyone know if we can hide or remove the right section of the calendar ?

If you are talking about the Day view, I have no idea how to hide that. It doesn't appear that Apple intends for you to hide it.

yes, thanks, that's it. Seems it only goes away on Week, or any other non-Day view.
