How do I cancel a pending purchase

I purchased a book I do not want on Apple Books, I meant to buy the audio version. The purchase still shows as pending, how do I cancel the purchase?

Cancel purchase I’d like to cancel an Apple Books order I made by mistake. It is now pending for 3 days. Apple says they can’t act until it’s no longer pending & then they might get me a refund. My credit card doesn’t stop payment or refund unless the price is over $50. Any way to remove this book that I don’t want & will never read?

If you got an email receipt, use the 'Report a Problem' link in it. If not, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for a refund.
