Upgrade RAM on new MacBook Pro 2019 16”

Hi I have a new MacBook Pro 16” and an Apple genius said that I can upgrade RAM after purchase if I bring it into an Apple store.

I just wanted to ask if this is still the case because my laptop is currently 16GB RAM and is running slow when I run programs such as Logic X Pro.

There are no memory slots. Memory is soldered to the logic board during manufacturing. It has been that way on MacBook Pro Retina models since 2012 (and all models after 2016 are Retina models).
