Bad pictures WhatsApp notification apple watch

Hello,


So I got a brand new Apple Watch SE, but when someone's sending me a picture using WhatsApp, the thumbnail is blurry.

I searched on the internet for a solution, (also the discussion page by Apple) and the awnser on the same question is:

"This issue has more to do with the sender, rather than the receiver. Share this FAQ with the person sending you photos to make sure that WhatsApp can locate the photo they're sharing."


So the thumbnail depends on the sender?! I don't think that's an realistic awnser. So I'm questioning again on Apple's forum. Is there a solution for changing the thumbnail of a notification from WhatsApp?

If not, can it be turned on somehow?

In regards to the issue, we would recommend the isolation steps described below to possibly identify where the issue stems from:


If you send a picture using WhatsApp, do your recipients using an Apple Watch also experience the same issue?


If the issue only occurs when you are sent content via WhatsApp, does it only occur from one sender or multiple senders?


Also, does this issue only occur with content sent through WhatsApp or does it persists with other apps like Messages?


The questions above can help isolate if the issue might stem from the sender or possibly with WhatsApp.
