My battery dies few minutes if unplugged. What should I do?

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve your issue.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

If it doesn't help, run Apple Diagnostics if it reports something about battery(PPT001 to PPT007)
