I purchased infinity blade iii on my iPhone years ago. I had to free up space so I deleted it. Now I want to redownload it and isn’t even in my purchases. I bought the game. I want it back. This is illegal.

How do I get my game back? I’ve had this email and ID ever since I was 18 years old. I’m 32 now am trying to get my favorite game back.

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Hi Nikkibobby18,

We understand you're trying to redownload a purchased item. We're happy to help provide more information.

This app is no longer available from the developer and you may not be able to redownload it from the App Store once uninstalled as mentioned here:

Infinity Blade 3 Removing Login and Cloud Saves Functionality

If you have additional questions about the availability of this app, we'd suggest contacting Epic Games for more information.

We hope this helps. Take care!

Apple took all Epic Games apps off the App Store because of the lawsuit they are in right now, regarding Epic Games removing Apple’s ability to profit off of Fortnite Vbucks in app purchases. The Infinity Blade series was developed by Epic Games, so now that’s been removed entirely from the App Store because of this. You can’t even get it back if you’ve offloaded the game, because it’s “no longer available in the App Store.” So, assuming Apple allows Epic Games the ability to develop on the App Store after the lawsuit, it is possible the Infinity Blade series will be put back up, but it’s not likely. Definitely feels like theft, and I think it’s fine for Apple to sue Epic Games for what they did, but it’s not fine to punish the consumer over irrelevant content in the process. You can try to call their customer support help line here at https://www.apple.com/contact/

to try and get your content back, but it’s likely the customer service person will have no idea about the lawsuit or what you are talking about and will instead point to some really obscure terms and service agreement line for the App Store about how Apple reserves the right to remove content for any reason. I lost this game too due to an offload to save space, and when I tried to get it back, Apple said no.

I have the same problem. I’ve had Infinity blade 3 for years with a very old save. When I went to play this weekend it told me I couldn’t open it. My phone had automatically offloaded it without my permission and clicking the app icon does not allow a redownload. Seriously disappointing. Not only was it an expensive game, but I’ve had it for ages. I shouldn’t have to get rid of it because apple is angry at a game studio.

Taking away anything that somebody paid for without their consent, nor offering a refund is no different than theft. In fact that is basically the definition of theft. Infinity blade 3 is by far the best mobile game I have ever played. Stop updating the game, sure I get it, is what it is. Remove the game completely with no concern for those who paid for it, that should be illegal. But he’ll, big tech can do whatever they please now a days.

Hi I purchased Infinity Blade on 25th December 2010. I purchased Infinity Blade 2 on 1st December 2011. I purchased Infinity Blade 3 on 18th September 2018.

I still have receipts from Apple for these purchases.

For the last 2 years I’ve had an iPhone XS and had all 3 games installed and working, however since updating to iPhone 12 a couple of months ago, I have the icons for them but they don’t work.

If I bought them before, I was under the impression I can redownload them again but I’ve tried everything to no avail.

I find this really rather frustrating and unfair that I paid for these apps and they are no longer available. Can no-one do anything about this?

I just had the game a week ago and it automatically deleted itself. Granted I do have my phone set to auto manage storage so it deletes (keeps saved data) of unused apps however I’ve been playing making a lot of progress the past few months I literally just played the game within 2 weeks ago and now it’s got a cloud download icon on it except it doesn’t bc the game doesn’t exist in the App Store. Some kind of major dysfunction it shouldn’t be removing apps that Apple knows is no longer in the App Store. Ridiculous! Apple should be ashamed of themselves 👉😠 lol. Or atleast it should just be working right, right and not be deleting apps they’ve been used literally within the past 2 weeks. Smh

Absolutely disgusted, idc which of these ****** companies “fault” it is that it’s gone, the fact is people paid money for it and it’s ridiculous that somehow Apple thinks it’s okay to allow this type of theft on their store. Why should anyone pay for apps through this App Store if there’s no security that the app will be there tomorrow and no recourse when it’s not? Shameful. This is exactly why people pirate the content that matters to them.

Yep. Only a matter of time before Apple deletes/locks this thread. They don't care about the active game's community. Worse, they don't worry about the legal repercussions behind revoking already purchased licenses because there aren't any. Kinda frightening to think that any of the apps/movies/games/music and whatnot that I've already bought could just disappear without my permission at any time.

It doesn't and makes me extremely skeptical to purchase anything in the future for my mobile apple devices.

Laptops and desktops seem to be the only reliable platforms to make purchases on, because god help us if we rely on something and it's been removed from the app store. Not a fan of Windows and using Linux is like trying to wrestle a rabid badger, but at least my workstation still runs what it needs to.
