I don’t see the tape provided per the article in the box

I got a replacement for my AirPod pros and it says to use the tape provided in the box to seal the box before sending it back but I don’t see the tape provided per the article in the box I was wondering if I can just use clear tape?

also I was told by the customer service agent to take off the ear tips off of the old one before sending them back is that still the case?

Yes, clear tape should be OK.

It is a good idea to remove the old ear tips first. I am confident that it is a Covid thing.
