itunes not synching album art with ipod touch 5

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with your album artwork not syncing properly.

Do you see a generic microphone icon in Artists view? If so, this is expected behavior. When in the Artist view, the device will automatically download generic artwork (microphone icon) for that specific artist from the iTunes Store. The artist in question has to have specifically set artwork to be used for their artist page for it to be displayed. If they have not set one up, then we show the microphone.

If this is in other views, please try the following troubleshooting:

1. Ensure iOS and iTunes are up-to-date.

2. Restart you iOS device.
