BEATS FLEX: the audio is very tin-y (lots of treble, no bass).

I see reviews that support what I'm saying (no bass)...and reviews saying that it has good bass.

Do I have to download an app to adjust the bass???

Hi there TheSooze,

We understand you're having issues with the audio on your Beats Flex, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best steps!

To get started, see if updating the firmware of your Beats Flex improves the sound quality. Check out this link for help with updating: Update the firmware of your Beats product - Apple Support

If your Beats are paired with an iPhone, you simply need to update your iPhone to update the Beats firmware. The current iOS version is 14.3.

If your iPhone needs updating, be sure to have a recent backup before you begin:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Since the wrong size ear tip can affect the sound quality, see if using one of the other pair of ear tips improves the sound: About your Beats eartips - Apple Support

Lastly, be sure to test your Beats with another device, as this can help determine if the issue is with the Beats or the device they're paired with.

If there's been no change in the sound quality, please contact Apple Support here: Get Support - Apple

From that link choose More > Beats by Dre > Audio Quality. From there you should see a few options to reach out, depending on your location.

Take care.
