Constantly being asked to enter Apple ID password

About 3 weeks ago my iPhone 5c iOS 12.5 started asking me every 2 days to re-enter my password for my Apple ID. Every 2nd time (so every 4 days) when I enter my password, it says my ID is locked then I have to unlock it using my email.

Why is this suddenly happening and how do I make it stop?

why is my phone making me reset my apple id password every day My apple ID will ask me to add my password for Apple ID almost every other day. It says the password I have written is wrong and will request me to reenter it. It then doesn't work so forces me to reset my password every day or every few days. It is very annoying and I will usually wait to reset it until I need to. The box will continuously pop up and ask me to enter my password and not accept the one I've changed it to after a day. What can I do to fix this? I am getting very frustrated resetting my password every few days or getting the continuous pop-up to add my password. Please help.

Apple ID Hi, rececntly say over the last few weeks my phone randomly keeps asking for my Apple ID password, I’ve gone through quite a few steps to try and fix it but it still keeps happening, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some people have fixed this by signing out of iCloud, restarting their device, and then logging back in. That hasn't worked for everyone.
