Butterfly keys replacement program

I have the British model of the Macbook Pro 2016 (Touch Bar) which is eligible for the keyboard replacement program. But since my current residence is in India, the service providers here do not offer the replacement for free since the keyboard layout is different and after a diagnosis they quoted a unreasonably hefty sum of money just to replace the sticky keys. Kind of annoying since the manufacturing fault is by Apple. Anyone else in the same boat as me? If yes, how did you device a solution for this?
