if I purchase unlocked iPhone from USA, will I get warranty coverage in India

No. You won't. You also will not be able to get paid, out of warranty service for it in India.

It's at the discretion of the service providers there. They're not obligated to honor the warranty and may not be able to replace it with an unit that's functionally identical to the original.
