Group Messaging

Group messaging does not consistently work on my phone. I have an iPhone 11 and there are times that they work and then other times that it doesn’t. I think the main reason is when androids are in the group chat, how can I fix it? I don’t even get regular text messages from those group chats but iMessage ones work.
