Black Box Pop up scam message on iPhone 6S screen while using Instagram app

A scam message popped up stating that it was looking for delivery drivers. But this was a whole new way a message was sent to me. Usually I get scam texts in the Messages app but this one just popped up on my iPhone 6S screen while I was using the Instagram app. It was a black box and at the bottom it said dismiss, and additionally there was like a "more info" thing by Apple that send some people use this way to send messages so they know the receiver has read it for sure. I clicked the only option available on the pop-up which was "Dismiss". I'm just a bit afraid as I usually get Amber Alert pop ups on my iPhone and have never received a scam message pop up like this. I was NOT using Safari at all.

Has this happened to anyone else too? :(

Is my phone affected by this?

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Hello there, hope you’re having a good day.

This normally occurs if you have either jailbroken your device or installed a 3rd party profile. Your app version of instagram may have been hacked or not be the real version, ensure you didn’t get an Instagram message stating that, as Apple will never announce things like these on third-parties.

Hope this helps :))
