Why is my subscribed calendar not showing on my iphone?

I have followed all the steps to add a subscribed calendar on my iphone. It worked for about a year and all of a sudden it stopped showing events from my subscribed calendar. Ive restarted my phone 1000 times. I have turned off iCloud calendar. I have contacted the subscribed calendar owner and confirmed there is no issue on his end. Any suggestions on how i can fix it?
