Issue - Pairing Watch 3 to iPhone 7, after un-pairing.

iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 3. These were paired in the past.

I am trying to unpair-then-re-pair my watch to my phone. It stalled partway through unpairing.

I had thought to unpair the watch because it was regularly failing to recognize the unlocked iPhone next to it, so i could not start workouts.

I think the unpairing process was incomplete, but i do not know how to proceed.

Now the watch will not unlock at all, though it does display the time.

on the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings, the apple watch is not fully recognized,

if i go to the Apple Watch app, it offers me to Start Pairing, but the watch never displays the “static” on its face, part of the pairing process on a new watch.

I have tried to Force Restart the watch, but no effect.

Now the Watch will only display the time or the message Device Locked...
