Hello. I just received this email from apple saying I logged in iCloud when I didn’t. But the email seems odd and has some grammar mistakes. How can I know if it’s fake and make sure my account is safe?

Absolutely FRAUD. If you were to download that “Verify Account” attachment it would be all over for you. Ignore it, delete it. If you feel uncomfortable about this change your password juts to be sure.

Yes, I'm sure it is.
Since the start of lockdown scammers have been very active.
The most recent scam is regarding the Covid Vaccine. A text arrives, supposedly from the NHS, saying you are eligible to apply for a vaccine.Just click on the link which brings you to a page asking you to validate your address by entering your bank details.
Firstly, you do not need to apply for the vaccine, but what is alarming is how the graphics etc were so accurate.
A general tip, if the email is in your spam folder, be wary. Always check. I would hope that no-one would think badly of a person who ran these sorts of emails by others. It's only by working together, sharing info and reporting to the authorities that we'll start to get the better of these despicable people. Yes, I am biased. My late mam was conned out of some money.
It's fake. Forward it to reportphishing@apple.com as an attachment and then delete it.
