is it possible to speed ramp a montage of photos in Final Cut Pro X

I know that Final Cut Pro X has speed ramping built-in. But I'm not trying to speed ramp a video. Instead I have about 200 photos that I would like to present in a speed ramped montage, where the first few photos are displayed on screen for 3 seconds each and then the rest appear on-screen increasingly fast.

Is it possible to apply speed ramping to a large number of photos in Final Cut Pro X? And how is this done? If not, are there any speed ramping plugins for photos that anyone can suggest? Thank you in advance! 😀

Select the clip or compound clip on the timeline.

Go to Modify > Retime > Show Retime Editor or press Command + R

Move the playhead so that it is about in the middle of the clip.

Cut the Retime Editor at the point by typing Shift + B

The Retime Editor will appear as two parts over the clip.

In the second section of the Retime Editor, set the speed to what you want the end speed to be (for example - Custom, 1000%

A transition will appear in the Retime Editor between the starting speed and the second speed. That is the Ramp. Drag out the ends of the Ramp in the Retime Editor to adjust to your taste.
