I had some Limited Edition Challenges completed.
When I tried to see the latest “Ring in the New Year” challenge 2021, I noticed the whole Limited Edition Challenge badges are gone... where have they gone??

sharnw, the problem just got fixed on mine.
Just as suggested by Jeff_W., I was preparing to ask Apple Support and gathering the device info.
Then I noticed my iPhone and my Apple Watch were on wi-fi in the same network at home, but connected through different wi-fi spots.
So I manually set the both devices to connect to wifi through the same spot, and boom... All the Limited Challenges resurfaced.
Try if your home network has several wifi spots.

What version of watchOS do you have? For some reason the monthly and limited challenges no longer update unless you have at least watchOS 6 installed.
This problem for me is still left unfixed. I have been on the phone with Apple support once a week and there is the same response - “engineering has no answer yet.”
My limited edition badges row disappeared on 2/12/21 after completing the unity challenged and since I haven’t been notified of earning new limited edition badges either. As shown below, the entire row for limited edition is just gone.
I have done every single step with support and still nothing. I enjoy the badges and look forward to earning them as part of the reason for purchasing. Now; I paid for a $700 watch that is missing a feature. Just about time to consider a refund and switch to Garmin! I will continue to spread the word on this as well. Frustrating. This is not worth the constant hassle that they have appeared to struggle with since 2018.

I did all that was mentioned on the page however, I still don’t see any of the limited challenges.
I searched for clues everywhere and now I don’t know what else to do. It’s so sad, I really liked those limited challenges.
Having this issue as well. I’ve tried reboot, checked my WIFI connections and they’re still missing. Really bummed these have disappeared! Apple my watch recently updated is this an update issue?
Has anyone resolved this with Apple Support?
Mine only got solved with the last watch update. Extremely frustrating...especially when you work so hard to meet these challenges. Funny thing the limited edition challenges are on my phone app but won't show up on my watch.

I’m having the exact same issue, they keep ringing me asking for profiles of both my phone & watch and then after a couple of days telling me that the engineering department are still investigating. Very frustrating!
Have returned to phone but not the watch. So the issue was only partially resolved and I haven’t gotten an update about earth day yet...? I am frustrated as well. We did a month of trouble shooting and it’s still not perfect. May switch to garmin....
How did you get them to even come back on your phone? I had this problem and then one day they just came back. Now I have gotten a new watch and they are gone again. My watch did even pop up on earth day to tell me about the challenge. It’s very frustrating!!!
I didn’t even get a new watch like I requested - they continue to blame it on software (which I do and don’t understand), but simply put the watch is not doing what I paid for it to do. I have Apple care and feel that after the numerous problems I have run into, there should be a replacement.
The badges are off my phone AGAIN and have been off my watch shortly after the “fix”. I also did not get notified of the earth day challenge. Phone and watch are up to date in software. I’m pretty p****d. Definitely saving up for a garmin and will continue to spread the word about how awful these watches are and that they continue to push off a true fix.
Garmin may not be able to do text and call but at least the fitness portion will be reliable and not rip away my accomplishments that some of us work hard to get so we can stay motivated and continue on healthy living paths.

I usually keep it up to date. I use Apple Watch Series 5, with the OS Version 7.2(18S563).
I'm having the exact same issue. I've tried turning off both the watch and phone. Both are up to date on software. Weird that these limited editions badges just vanished!
