iOS Reduce Transparency Feature Issue

Hi, basically, I use the "reduce transparency" feature on my iPhone, but I believe it doesn't work properly over the keyboard. When I use that feature, the keyboard should have a darker tone like the attached screenshot, but it doesn't, and when it rarely does, it goes back to its brighter/normal tone in just minutes. How can I keep having that dark tone on my keyboard? Thank you!

Greetings AMillennial!

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! It looks like you have an issue with an Accessibility feature, and we'd like to do what we can to help out.

Looking at the iPhone User Guide, the Adjust the display and text size on iPhone page, we see that the description for Reduce Transparency is as follows: "This setting reduces the transparency and blurs on some backgrounds."

We can understand how this feature may vary with each page, as you've noticed.

Since this feature adjusts the background, perhaps there is a different feature which may help with what you would like to happen. Have you tried "Increase Contrast"?

If you aren't sure which feature may be the most helpful, you can contact Apple's Accessibility experts:

Well, I tried "Increase Contrast" and that dark color on the keyboard (like 123/return color in my screenshot) didn't stay on either.

I know the feature "Reduce Transparency" doesn’t work for every single page or application, but since it works on the keyboard and showed that dark color tone, why it fades away again back to the lighter color tone? How can I keep the darker color tone forever?
