iPhone doesn't show up on my computer when I plug in but I can still access it in Photos
And I have also done: OPTION, up to apple icon, System Info, USB and it's showing up. All of my software is up to date and it's a iPhone 12 Max Pro
What macOS are you using on your MBP?
Should be Catalina or later = open Finder.
Should be an older version = open iTunes.
