In Mac Mail, I can no longer see the right viewing pane with the full email. I can only see the column with the email preview. I can change the width of the column. But not reveal the right pane. I see others posting about this problem, but can't find a solution that works. Is there a solution? I'm running Catalina 10.15.7

Hover the cursor over the right edge of the Mail window until it changes to a left pointing arrow. Then click and drag to the left until the preview pane pops open. It doesn't slide open. You need to drag nearly the width of the Mail window.

What happens when you enter Full Screen? Can you see the preview? If yes, resize it to make it large enough so that when you exit Full Screen, the pane is still visible.
You're welcome. I don't know why it would randomly close once opened. I assume you have "Show Side Preview" checked in the View menu.
Thanks. Sometimes that works, sometimes not.
Sometimes I hover over, and see the left arrow, drag it ALL the way left or right and nothing happens.
Also, when it does work, this view randomly disappears, then I have to struggle again to fix the view.
It's pretty annoying. I hope they get a better fix for this.
No that didn't help. What I do is close Safari..reopen. And then I eventually can grab the left arrow. But usually, I can see the left arrow but unable to grab it. The 2 way arrow however always works (to change width of the pane).
