Apple provides no further updates of any kind for macOS Sierra 10.12.6. If you are asking in a round about way how to upgrade your Mac to a newer operating system, then do the following:

  1. From the menu : About This Mac, get the information in parenthesis on the Mac product description line.
  2. Using only the Safari browser, check your hardware requirements in How to get old versions of macOS, and then select the link to the Mac App Store version of macOS that you can install on your Mac.
