absence of some option on Touch Bar

Normally, when I hold a vowel, there is a screen in my Touch Bar where I can type the accented letters such as: à, á, â, ä. However, since a few days I do not receive this screen on my Touch Bar. They do not appear anymore. Though this was the case a few days earlier. Does anyone know what the reason for this is?

PS: I am still able to type them by holding a vowel and a pop-up screen appears in my normal screen, but I liked the Touch Bar option more.

Hi hessel96,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Have you tried restarting your MacBook since noticing this behavior with your Touch Bar and accented letters? You can also test this out in a different user account to see if the issue persists.
