Which Antivirus is best for my Mac Pro

I am looking for a few options for my new Mac book pro. I have used Avira before but they just do not have good customer support. I am working in a software development company and therefore i need better support as well as more combat security. I heard about Avast and McAfee are 2 good options as they both have quality and technically sound customer support staff. Moreover, i have also analyzed their pricing plans and they look quite affordable with such offerings. I also saw a comparison between McAfee and Avast to select the best one but i need a few other recommendations on which one to choose between them..
