Random Name not Macintosh HD

i reinstalled my MacBook Air M1 a few weeks ago, but it’s not named Macintosh HD it’s a random long word, i know there are other topics regarding this issue, but none for the new MacBook Air M1. the drive is APFS format. is it the same advice?

Multiple Macintosh HD after reinstall Two years after having bought my MacBook Air I decided it was time for a fresh reinstall. So I took the usual steps: Command-R and erasing of the Macintosh HD, and then reinstall of Big Sur. Everything seems to be working fine now, but I noticed in Disk Utility that the HD looks somewhat odd. There's the first Macintosh HD which has this weird "com.apple.os.update etc." subsection to it. And then there are two other Macintosh HDs labeled Data. Anyone has any idea of the what the heck has happened?

Old MacBook Air factory reset problem. Hi, my girlfriend got an old MacBook Air from her friend (probably 2014, doesn't say the year in 'about this Mac', which is weird). It's updated to the latest version of Big Sur and I was trying to do the factory reset on it but after restarting it while pressing cmd + R I got this old 'OS X Utilities' window instead usual 'macOS Utilities'. What's even worse, in the old disk utility section there's no 'Macintosh HD' drive visible, only 'OS X base system'. I've never encountered something like that and I think someone was doing some weird stuff to that system. Could someone please help me with that? What should I do to make a normal factory reset and get clean Big Sur on that Mac?

Fix Unexpected Partition Drive (M1 chip) There is another drive under the main “MacBook” drive called “Untitled”. Is this normal? How do I fix it? Isn’t it just the main drive as default? Thanks

The OS is mounted from a “sealed” snapshot that has a rather long, somewhat random name.

No. Just ignore it. You won’t see it anywhere else and don’t ever need to reference it

ah, ok, so is it possible to rename it as this is what is showing in disc utility, or would it be better to leave it as named?
