Split view or slide over?

If split view: Slide the grey bar to the left fully or the right fully

If slide over: Drag the slide over to the right fully

How? Hold the small rectangle on top of the slide over and drag.

Or: Press the home button

To permanently remove it, go to Settings > General > Multitasking and Dock > Turn “Multitasking” Off.

Simply drag the grey handle, located in the centre of the divider, off of one or other side of the screen.
