Hello my question is I, trying to purchase the Apple Watch 6 but would really love the stainless steel version. When looking at my options I cannot choose between gps and cellular for the stainless steel version is that correct. So I am stuck without options if i go with the stainless steel graphite.
The GPS only model is Aluminum.
All the other case options are cellular.
You pay more up front for the cellular, even in Aluminum, plus the premium for a better case material. But if you do not activate the cellular radio, then as Sberman says, you can use it as if it were a GPS only model, keeping your iPhone nearby for full functionality.

Simply because your Apple Watch contains a cellular capability does not mean you’re required to use it. I actually have an Apple Watch 6 which has cellular capability that I don’t use.
