Screenshot is not working on iPhone 12 pro max

for some reason the screenshots on my iPhone 12 Pro Max is not working i tried to screenshot a picture then I did what I usually do. Pressing the power button and volume down. I tried to reset my phone and still screenshot is not working. What should I do???
