I am looking for something with an area to plug in an hdmi for my 2018 MacBook air

I am looking for something that allows me to have an HDMI connection to my 2018 MacBook Air. Does apple have one that fits mine? or do I purchase from another brand?

There are lots of adapters out there to go from USB or USB-C to HDMI. If you want to use a TV or projector with an HDMI input as a monitor for your Mac, that's easy.

You can't go the other way, though.
