SSD Upgrade?

So I've been reading about people upgrading their SSD(Memory) lately. They also made the "economical" choice of the base 128 GB option when they bought a 2013-2015 MacBook Pro Retina. Realizing my phone is double (sigh..), what my MacBook is, I now realize I need to upgrade this wonderful Machine.

Please comment below if you have a sec! I am overwhelmed with the options. Did you install or have a shop install a new SSD and how is it treating you? Is there really a difference in the new read/write speeds vs the old OEM SSD?

I am thinking between these two but open to suggestions. Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Take a look at the install videos here:

You weren't precise enough for us to be sure we picked the right model, so find yours on that page and take a look. If it is the one I am thinking, it should be possible.

As for what to buy: I only use OWC (macsales.com). Macs are quite picky, so I only order from a Mac centric and recommended vendor. They have plenty of choices and good support - just ask them and they will help you.
