Why want ESPN app work on my appletv box anymore? Entered activation code and provider login?

The ESPN app requires a (cable) TV provider package that includes ESPN, or an ESPN+ subscription.

If the app itself misbehaves:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists, then contact the app developer for further assistance.

i don’t know of any changes. I haven’t used the ESPN app recently. I used some of the apps and they work fine the activation code. On phone said that it was successful but that’s it. The tv won’t switch to ESPN

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Did something change since it last worked, that you have to enter credentials again?
