I have some troubles using iPhone 12 Pro Max, when I’m on FaceTime, the camera becomes so laggy in every light condition (low light etc) Apple made a diagnose and said everything was ok with the hardware, but they told me it was probably a software issue, and by updating to iOS 14.3, the problem continued. Does anyone have this issue too?

Also had made a factory reset on the phone with no backups. Still happened, One time that i went to a third party reparation provider. They wanted me to spend 15 US DLS for a “more complete factory reset” because they told me the problem may be on my I could backup. I refused to pay because the phone back then was only 1 month old. The problem started right away y opened the box. I prove them that the problem continued with the phone being factory rebooted with no backup. (This not to mention other problems the phone has like poor battery efficiency, strange lock sound when using MagSafe etc)
I’ve tested my wifi connection. Multiple diagnoses by apple and apparently hardware is ok. Trying with different networks, contacts etc. And nothing seems to solve the problem. Apple only says that on the “next update would be fixed” but since iOS 14.2.1 the problem has not been solved.

By laggy, do you mean your front facing camera is choppy when you move? It's as if it has a slow frame rate?
Both front and rear cameras are choppy. And yes, comparing it with FPS, I could say they appear to be slow frame rate.
I'm having the same issue on the front facing camera only when on FaceTime or WhatsApp video calls.
Yeah I went through the same process. I even got my phone replaced and the issue is still there.
Was the replaced phone open box? Or a literally new phone. Because I know apple uses their “replace method” as a phone being repaired.
