Recovering texts from iCloud

My texts are backed up to iCloud. I accidentally deleted a text and want to recover. I went to iCloud and even though it says my texts are there there is no way to retrieve! HELP!!!

If you have a backup then you need to restore from the backup.

iCloud backup is encrypted, you cannot see what's in there without restoring.

FYI: If you have in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Messages > ON then

Messages is not part of a iCloud backup.
