Why do some spreadsheets 'scroll' left and right and others do not. Specifically one 'drifts' off the screen to the left with MINOR mouse commands. The second moves ONLY up and down but remains visible.

HI TEOTA,

Numbers has a pair of settings, Freeze Header Rows and Freeze Header Columns, that are likely contributing to the differences in behavior you describe.

Freezing the header columns results in those columns remaining visible on the screen when the body of the table is moved to the left. The Header column(s) will remain visible as long as any column in the table is still seen on the screen.

Freeze Header rows does much the same thing—keeping the Header Row(s) visible on the screen as the table in moved upward.

A trip to the Table menu to toggle these two settings between "On" and "Off" should solve your issue.

Regards,

Barry
