MacBook Air touch id is not working after the new update macOS BigSur, so whats the problem ?
Try resetting the SMC. If that does sort-out the issue, try restarting in Safe Mode ( Shift ) immediately at startup. It will do a Repair Disk, Clear cache files and Only Load Apple software required to operate the computer.
