Can’t connect to my AirPods.

So I was having difficulty connecting to my AirPods so I tried to reset them but now every time I hold down the button I just get a continuous white light no matter how long I hold it. I don’t know if it’s because I lost one a while ago or because there first gen but I haven’t been able to reconnect to them for 2 months.

AirPods will not connect, constant blinking amber light i just received my AirPods 24 hours ago and I used hen once but after that they won’t connect and I constantly see a blinking amber light and I hold the back button for a while minute and close and open the case and the light won’t turn white so I can connect them, I called apple support but after I told someone my problem they hung up on me with no call back and I’m on the verge of never using apple AirPods again.
