when I go to upload my video project from Final Cut Pro to "YouTube and Facebook" I get a warning saying "Using an 8-bit codec with HDR content may effect video quality" message. How do I correct this issue for upload?

The YouTube preset uses H.264 in 8-bit. You need to use master file or Compressor to upload HDR.
