can I reset apple ID of my child

Ipad of my son belongs to my family sharing. He has lost both his Ipad PIN and his apple ID password so we can't access his ipad anymore. what can I do? Thanks

By PIN, do you mean passcode?

Passcode - If you forgot the passcode for your iPad or your device is disabled.

First I would go to his Apple ID online and see if you can reset his password. You should be able to do this with the Apple backup Identification methods when it asks for his password. It will have an option to say that you forgot the password.
