uninstall flashplayer download password problem

adobe uninstaller pop up asks for a password, have tried every apple related password ive ever had, none work. I do not have an adobe password if that is what is required. Anybody having similar experience? Am i missing something obvious? what are consequences if I fail to uninstall adobe flash player before 1/12/21?

thank you

It should be asking for the password of an admin user. It should show your user name and ask for a password.

If user name and password are blank, it doesn't think your account is an admin user. Put in an admin user name and password.

If that is what you are doing and it doesn't work, can you unlock the padlocks in any of the System Preferences?
