Directv app for Apple tv
Is there a way to watch my Directv inside of Apple TV? Is there an app? If not is there a different way?

You should be asking DirecTV or AT&T this, as it is up to the content provider to release an app for their service.
The DirecTV app is available for iPhone and iPad, but not for the Apple TV box. It seems they really want you to rent their own set-top box.
You can however use the DirecTV plan to authenticate for the various network channel apps that require TV provider credentials (ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, CNN, Fox, AMC, etc.).
