How much, EXACTLY, is “plenty” of internal storage space?
What is the rated, internal data storage model of your iPad and how much of this internal data stirage is left inside of your iPad model?

That iPad model corresponds to an iPad Mini 4 which can support iPadOS 14.3.
But, you haven't answered all of my questions to see if you will be able to successfully upgrade to iPadOS 14.3, or not.
