And what makes you believe you have a screen problem? The iPhone is water resistant, not waterproof. And, you did not identify what model of iPhone you have, so even that statement does not apply to all iPhones.
Contact Apple Support and see if you can return the phone for a refund.
Buy a different phone.
If you are disappointed with your iPhone, as Johnathan said, you can return it. You have 14 days from purchase, if you purchased from Apple to return it for a refund. If you purchased from somewhere else, the return period is up to them. If it is past that period, you can contact Apple Support to see about service if you believe you have a problem.
